Job summary

El Paso County Public Health seeks a Policy & Prevention Specialist to assess community needs and develop targeted health programs addressing tobacco, alcohol, cannabis and other substances. You will collaborate with coalitions and partners, create education materials, and monitor program outcomes.

The role emphasizes grant reporting, evidence-based strategies, stakeholder engagement, and building durable community partnerships for lasting public health impact.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of health promotion principles and ability to translate them into community programs.
• Experience coordinating with coalitions and diverse community groups.
• Ability to monitor and report on grant-funded activities and outcomes.
• Strong communication skills for education and outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities
