Job summary

FIRC (Family & Intercultural Resource Center) is seeking a Bilingual Community Navigator in Summit County to lead community navigation services for health, housing, and public benefits. The role emphasizes culturally responsive coaching, client advocacy, and collaboration with partners to connect residents with resources.

The position is full-time year-round, requires English/Spanish, and offers PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, FSA/HSA, retirement plan, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• English and Spanish proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Meet community members at events and partner sites to assist with applications and navigation.
• Assist with health coverage applications and navigate public benefits.
• Provide referrals and coordinate with partners across services.
• Maintain data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
• Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled.
