Job summary

FIRC is seeking a full-time Bilingual Community Navigator to serve Summit County communities. Grounded in the CHW model, you will bridge residents with health, financial, and social services, offering coaching and advocacy with cultural sensitivity.

You will manage high-volume client support, referrals, and collaboration with internal and external partners, while maintaining accurate data and attending trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Service, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related experience preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible presence at community events and partner sites to connect with residents.
• Assist clients with applications, troubleshooting, and navigating health, financial, and social services.
• Provide coaching, referrals, and advocacy with honesty, integrity, and cultural sensitivity.
