Job summary

Wider Circle is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist to lead Connect For Life in Charleston, WV, with Beckley, Huntington, and surrounding areas considered. You will run events, engage members, and visit homes, driving health equity through trusted relationships and proactive outreach.

The role emphasizes leadership, event planning, and consistent member engagement, including one-on-one outreach and remote coordination, in a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation strongly preferred.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and promoting health through events (virtual and in person).
• Plan and host virtual and in‑person events, including venue search, prep, and outreach to members.

Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education

Associate’s degree preferred

5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree
