Job summary

Wider Circle is hiring a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist in the Lancaster, PA area to lead Connect For Life and drive member engagement through events and outreach. You will coordinate in-person and virtual activities, conduct home visits, and connect neighbors to improve health outcomes.

You will build relationships, plan outreach, and document interactions in Wider Circle systems, while identifying potential ambassadors and expanding the member network locally.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years may be considered instead of a degree.
• Pennsylvania Community Health Worker Certificate strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Connect For Life program and community events.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships.
• Proactively contact members and conduct home visits to engage participation.
• Document member interactions in Wider Circle systems for reporting.
• Identify natural leaders and invite them to become Wider Circle Ambassadors.
• Develop outreach plans to enroll new members in Connect For Life.
