Buehler YMCA is hiring a Community Concierge team to translate a passion for customer service into a rewarding career at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. The role interacts with community members, offers solutions, and helps people discover YMCA programs and services.

Pay is $17.05 per hour with opportunities for growth. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, a 403(b) plan, and ongoing training in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Greet and assist community members, delivering friendly service.
• Answer phones and email inquiries.
• Maintain front desk operations and inventory.
• Sell memberships and provide hub tours.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phones and email inquiries.
• Actively manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations by partnering with local Community Hub leadership to ensure community spaces are clean at all times.
• Anticipate individual’s needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock, as needed.
• Ensure front desk operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct hub tours responsive to the needs of prospective customers; sell memberships.
