Del Sol Furniture & Mattress in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a bilingual collector with 2+ years in collections to contact past-due accounts, negotiate payment plans, and document all interactions. The role requires professional, empathetic communication and strict adherence to FDCPA and company policies.

This in-person position offers base pay plus commission, with opportunities for advancement and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Bilingual English and Spanish — required, not preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
• Comfortable with CRM or collection software — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with past-due accounts in a professional, empathetic, and results-oriented manner.
• Negotiate payment arrangements while following company policies and federal and state regulations including FDCPA.
• Document all customer interactions and payment agreements accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with the credit and customer service teams to resolve account issues and minimize delinquency.
• Consistently meet or exceed collection targets, call volume, and follow-up goals.
• Handle escalated situations with composure and professionalism.

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing bilingual collector who knows how to have difficult conversations professionally, negotiate payment arrangements effectively, and hit targets consistently without burning bridges.

What You Will Earn

• $18–$24 per hour
• Earned commission on top of base — realistic annual earnings of $50,000 and above for a strong performer

Your Schedule

• Full time, 8 or 10 hour shifts
• Monday through Saturday — Saturday availability is required
• In-person position at our Phoenix, AZ office
