Del Sol Furniture in Phoenix, AZ seeks a bilingual Collections Team Lead for our in-house financing unit. You will lead a small team, manage a portfolio of accounts, and drive daily results in both English and Spanish.

This role offers a base salary of 55,000–60,000 with a team performance bonus and opportunities for growth. Expect realistic total earnings of 65,000–70,000 for a strong lead, plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a small team of collectors (full-time/part-time).

• Track team and individual metrics; intervene when needed.
• Train new collectors on processes, systems and standards.
• Handle escalated customers and complex situations within guidelines.

Bilingual Collections Team Lead, In-House Furniture Financing

55,000-60,000 base plus team performance bonus | Full time | 3925 W Adams St, Suite 1, Phoenix, AZ 85009

Del Sol Furniture finances our own customers through our in-house lending company. Our collections team works our own accounts: real customers who bought furniture from us and who we want to keep as customers.

We are looking for an experienced bilingual collector who is ready to lead. You will carry your own accounts, coach a small team, make decisions on the floor, and own the team's daily results. You will report directly to our collections manager and help shape how the department runs.

What You Will Earn

• 55,000-60,000 base, depending on experience
• Monthly bonus tied to total team collections. When the team wins, you win.

Your Schedule

• Full time, Tuesday through Saturday
• Set shift of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Arizona time, including a 1-hour lunch
• Saturdays are required. You lead the team on our busiest calling day.
• In person at our Phoenix office, 3925 W Adams St, Suite 1

What You Will Do

Lead the team

• Coach and support a small team of full-time and part-time collectors
• Run daily priorities: who calls which accounts, follow-ups, and escalations
• Review calls and account notes for quality, accuracy, and policy compliance
• Track team and individual numbers, and step in early when someone falls behind
• Train new collectors on our process, systems, and standards
• Handle escalated customers and difficult situations the team can't resolve
• Make day-to-day decisions on payment arrangements and team coverage within company guidelines

Collect

• Work your own portfolio of past-due accounts, in English and Spanish
• Negotiate payment arrangements that customers can actually keep
• Follow company policy and all applicable state and federal consumer lending rules
• Document every conversation and agreement accurately

Improve the department

• Spot what's working and what isn't, and bring ideas to the collections manager
• Help build better scripts, processes, and reporting as we grow

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluent in English and Spanish. This is required, because you will use both every day.
• 3+ years in collections, loan servicing, or accounts receivable
• A record of top performance. Tell us your numbers when you apply.
• Experience leading, training, or coaching others, formally or informally. Team lead, trainer, or go-to senior collector all count.
• Calm under pressure, firm without being aggressive
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with numbers and reports
• Comfortable learning new software. We train on our systems.
