Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Therapist to support refugee and immigrant children and families in Charlotte, NC. You will conduct group and individual therapy, perform intake assessments, document cases, and assist in court-related reporting as needed.

Requirements include a master's degree in social work or related field, active licensure or licensure eligibility, and experience with trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work with clinical experience required.
• Active licensure in the state of employment or licensure eligibility with plans to obtain.
• At least two years of post-master's experience in child and family services or counseling.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly group therapy and individual sessions per plan.
• Complete intake assessments, closing summaries, and psychosocial documentation promptly.
• Provide reports/testimony to court as requested.
• Translate written and verbal communication for clients and staff.
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with agency and contract policies.
