Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Dedicated Client Liaison to support intake, coordination, and resolution of client inquiries about employee benefits, including disability, PFMLs, leave, and related services.

This role requires deep benefit knowledge and the ability to translate it into practical workplace solutions for the client and employees. You will partner with HR, payroll, and managers, deliver client-facing training, analyze reports, and guide employees through benefit processes.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
• 3+ years related work experience preferred.
• Experience administering disability and absence.
• Knowledge of group insurance products and paid leave administration.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse people and handle difficult customer service situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Understanding of the leave of absence process and coordination with other benefits.

Responsibilities

• Proactively define role in collaboration with the Client and service team, identifying responsibilities.
• Maintain deep understanding of Client benefits and apply to benefit administration.
• Manage and resolve inquiries to the Client's satisfaction.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate processing of benefits.
• Assist with benefit claims submission and monitor progression.
• Support return-to-work processes and employee guidance on Sun Life benefits.
• Explain EOI requirements and resources to promote timely processing.
