Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a subject assigned.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for the subject/level.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned subject.
• Deliver instruction following TEA guidelines, policies and regulations.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and accommodate diverse learners.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides/volunteers in the classroom.
• Incorporate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents.
