Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and valid Texas teaching certificate for the subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL supplemental certification preferred to support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the curriculum and standards.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and accommodate individual needs (gifted, ESL, 504, etc.).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and supervise assignments for aides/volunteers in the classroom.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning processes.
