Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience doing administrative research that includes compiling and evaluating facts to recommend action or decide compliance.
• Experience with inbound/outbound customer calls and resolving inquiries.
• Ability to interpret UI laws and policies and explain them to claimants and employers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams for daily work.

Responsibilities

• Process unemployment insurance claims and contact claimants and employers for information.
• Enter claims information into the computerized database and verify accuracy.
• Analyze claims to determine eligibility based on relevant laws and regulations.
• Educate claimants and employers about UI services and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries about claims, procedures, and wage record issues.
• Provide quality assurance by reviewing claims for completeness and accuracy.
