Job summary

Pathways LA is seeking a Specialist, CDE to support families and childcare providers, implementing CDE programs and providing case management within the Child Development Education team.

The role requires organization, customer focus, and experience in child development or R&R/Alternative Payment programs. Bilingual Russian/Armenian is strongly preferred, with a hybrid work model in Downtown LA.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in child development.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using client database software.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Access to a reliable motor vehicle and evidence of automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Implement Pathways LA’s Child Development Education programs (Stage 2, Stage 3, Alternative Payment, Berendo Program).
• Provide case management support to parents.
• Work directly with participating childcare providers.
• Assist with selected fiscal responsibilities.
