Job summary

Child & Family Resources is seeking a Parent Educator to work with families from prenatal to kindergarten entry using the Parents as Teachers model. You will maintain a caseload, conduct home visits, and document activities within set timelines.

You’ll administer screenings and connect families to community resources, supporting child development and family well-being. The role requires a CDA/AA/BA in a related field and at least two years of experience with young children and their parents;

Qualifications

• CDA or higher degree in a related field as listed.
• Two+ years of experience with young children and families.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Knowledge of home visitation and group education.
• Knowledge of child development and community resources.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and maintain a caseload of 20 families.
• Plan, deliver and document sessions within program timelines.
• Administer developmental and sensory screenings (ASQ-3, ASQ-SE2, etc.).
• Complete data entry and maintain records per policy.
• Engage families through group connections and resources.
• Attend trainings and meetings; travel as needed.
• Meet program performance standards and deadlines.
