Job summary

The District of Columbia Department of Human Services, Youth Services Division, seeks a bilingual Case Manager to help youth and families facing truancy, delinquency, and family conflict. Qualifications

• Must meet Selective Placement Factor: bilingual Spanish fluency (speaks and writes in Spanish).
• Degree in behavioral or social science or related discipline.
• At least four years of appropriate experience in behavioral or social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the case manager and service coordinator for assigned clients.
• Facilitate collaboration among agencies, providers, and individuals connected to clients.
• Conduct assessments and develop service plans to mitigate barriers and promote self-sufficiency.
• Connect clients to needed supportive services and ensure engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficacy of services; complete required case notes and reports.
• Assist Spanish-speaking clients by translating documents and communicating with staff.
