Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program in Cincinnati, OH seeks a dedicated Case Manager to connect youth and families with needed resources. The role emphasizes timely assessments, service plans, and comprehensive case files in line with ORR policies.

The position requires a 4-year degree, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call shifts to support vulnerable youth and foster care reunification efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a social service field.
• Excellent case management, verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work consistent with NYAP mission and values.
• Ensure assessments and service plans are completed within ORR timeframes.
• Conduct intake interviews and gather sponsorship information for youth.
• Coordinate with sponsors and family members to verify care for minors.
• Prepare, participate in staffing with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend meetings with ORR stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate with local pro bono attorneys for Know Your Rights presentations.
• Document actions and contacts in progress notes as required.
• Submit reunification packets for timely release to designated sponsors.
