Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Cincinnati, OH seeks a licensed clinician to support emotional wellness for children and youth in foster care and the community. You will assess, counsel, advocate, stabilize mental health, and work toward reunification with sponsor families.

Requires a Master’s/Doctorate in a behavioral field, licensure or eligibility, bilingual English/Spanish, and willingness to travel up to 25–30%.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral discipline.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure (non-licensed staff must pursue licensure within 3 years).
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health services, including assessments, counseling, referrals, and crisis intervention.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload and meet service delivery thresholds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide on-site child-facing services and family sessions.
• Travel to provide community-based services up to 25-30% as needed.
