Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a Case Manager to coordinate case management services for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) under agency policy, DFPS standards, and ORR policy. You will assess needs, screen for trafficking concerns, and facilitate safe releases and family reunification.

Responsibilities include intake, assessments, service planning, and documentation in case files, with duties expanding to on-call coverage and evening/weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, human services, social services or related field is required.
• Child welfare and/or case management experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement of residents, conduct intake interviews and orientation, and assess client needs and strengths.
• Prepare goal-oriented assessments and progress reports and ensure timely documentation in case files and databases.
• Identify prospective sponsors to facilitate reunification and assess release suitability per ORR policy.
• Attend weekly staffing meetings with Lead Case Manager and stakeholders; follow up on identified needs.
• Meet with assigned UAC weekly and provide weekly calls to sponsors/family members.
• Submit complete family reunification packets and supporting documentation within required timeframes.
