Job summary

JBA International, a plaintiff litigation law firm located in downtown Los Angeles, seeks a motivated Spanish-speaking case manager with workers' compensation experience to support a dynamic team of attorneys.

You will assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines and billing, draft legal documents, conduct research, and organize case files in compliance with firm policies.

Qualifications

Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines and billing.
Minimum education: high school diploma; AA or paralegal certification acceptable; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in case management within personal injury or related legal roles.
Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and case management software.
Organize and maintain all case files in accordance with firm policies.
Conduct legal research to obtain documentation on health insurance, Social Security, medical records.
Draft legal documents for attorney review and ensure adherence to legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines, billing, and reminders as necessary.
Organize and maintain all case files and information concerning engagement, electronically or on paper, per firm policies.
Draft legal documents for attorney review and ensure adherence to all legal requirements.
