Job summary

Friendship Place is hiring a Case Manager for the Neighbors First Program in Washington, DC. This full‑time, hourly, non‑exempt role provides permanent supportive housing services to individuals experiencing homelessness, following a Housing First approach.

You will conduct field visits, develop and monitor service plans, coordinate with landlords and service providers, and document outcomes while maintaining compliance with background checks and required trainings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of social service delivery systems and rehab services.
• Experience with families, youth, and school systems.
• Experience with addictions, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness with comorbidities.
• Deliver face-to-face contact, ~80% time in the field.
• Develop, implement, and revise individual service plans.
• Assist households in locating wraparound services and housing resources.
• Maintain electronic records in Housing the Homeless database.
• Attend trainings and collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate care.
