Job summary

TORKLAW is seeking a motivated Case Coordinator to join our plaintiff personal injury team in Chicago. The role focuses on moving cases forward, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional service.

You’ll manage pre-litigation cases from inception through settlement, organize files, gather medical records, and communicate with clients, insurers, and providers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury.
• Proficient with standard office and productivity software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Prior litigation experience is a plus.
• Professional, personable, and client-focused demeanor.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from inception through settlement
• Maintain organized case files, records, and documentation
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers
• Assist with drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
• Gather and organize medical records, bills, evidence, and other case-related materials
• Coordinate medical treatment and assist clients throughout the claims process
• Handle property damage claims and assist with lien negotiations
• Monitor case progress and ensure deadlines, milestones, and follow-ups are completed timely
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution
• Provide compassionate and professional client service while managing sensitive situations with care and professionalism

PAY: $60K + DOE

What You’ll Do
