Job summary

Compass Connections in Robstown, Texas, is seeking compassionate staff for its emergency shelter and group home placement for children. The role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with an hourly wage of $23.05 and 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• 1+ year related experience and/or training required; 2+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or two years of college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
• Enter information in Salesforce and UC Portal as required by agency policy and procedures.
• Review Salesforce and UC Portal for compliance with guidelines and standards.
• Document information related to delays in the reunification process.
• Review and sign children’s records per agency policy and licensing standards.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and teamwork decisions.
• Attend workshops and trainings for professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records, files and statistics per contract requirements.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Implement safety protocols including evacuations with children and staff when required.
• Maintain confidentiality in all operations.
• Adhere to Compass Connections policies and dress code.
