Job summary

Compass Connections in Texas is seeking compassionate staff to support emergency shelter and group home placement for children. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related experience, and CPR/First Aid certifications; bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7am to 4pm, with benefits starting on day one. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training required; 2+ years preferred.
• CPR, First aid, Emergency behavior intervention certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet federal/state regulatory guidelines for the position.
• Maintain contractor records and accounting data.
• Supervise ground logistics staff at each facility.
• Generate weekly work order reports and track progress.
• Maintain filing/tracking for building inspections.
• Process purchase requisitions, receipts, invoices, and PO logs.
• Prepare travel and expense reports.
• Participate in meetings and coordinate team operations.
• Follow Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuations.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and program operations.
• Adhere to Compass Connections standards of conduct.
