Compass Connections seeks compassionate staff for its Texas facility to provide supervised care for children in a safe, supportive environment. The role includes implementing treatment plans, supervising activities, and facilitating daily routines for residents.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant social services experience; bilingual English/Spanish is required. Certifications in first aid and CPR are expected, and evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required to support

Formación

• Requires fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in child welfare or related social services preferred.
• First aid and CPR certifications required or obtainable

Responsabilidades

• Meet federal and state guidelines and standards for the position.
• Document serious incidents, daily progress, and activities accurately and timely.
• Assist with orientation of new children and staff.
• Provide input into development of treatment plans as requested.
• Use positive child-management techniques including de-escalation.
• Plan, organize and supervise activities per daily schedule.
• Teach life skills and basic personal hygiene to children.
• Maintain a clean, orderly living area and supervise daily chores.
• Maintain records of children's clothing and personal items.
• Maintain campus security and radio communication protocols.
• Encourage positive interaction and responsibility among children.
• Demonstrate culturally appropriate behavior and provide learning examples.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Follow Compass Connections safety protocols during emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct as per policies.
