Ascendo Resources is assisting a leading logistics client in Doral, FL, in hiring a Cargo Claims Coordinator (bilingual Spanish required) for an in-office, full-time role. You will manage cargo claims from receipt to resolution and collaborate with insurers and carriers.

Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish, have 1+ year of cargo claims or logistics experience, and be adept at negotiation, analysis, and multitasking.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• 1+ years in cargo claims processing, insurance adjusting, or logistics.
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency; Excel/Outlook experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cargo claims from initial receipt through to complete resolution.
• Perform detailed investigations by analyzing bills of lading, inspection reports, photographs, and supporting docs.
• Evaluate liability and conduct negotiations for equitable settlements with clients, carriers, and insurance partners.
• Collaborate with cargo insurance providers on claim submissions and recovery efforts.
• Deliver clear communication in English and Spanish with customers, agents, and cross-regional teams.
• Maintain precise claims records and generate regular leadership reports.
• Identify opportunities to lower claim frequency and boost recovery success rates.
