Job summary

Career Team is seeking an Adult and Dislocated Bilingual Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services. This on-site role requires working at the California location and involves data entry, IEP development, and client counseling.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years in operations, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• MS Word and Excel skills; ability to learn databases and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community.
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program.
• Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs via interviewing, testing, and other methods.
• Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners.
• Enter data into client information systems and required databases.
• Guide job seekers through Individual Employment Plans (IEP).
• Counsel clients on job opportunities, training programs, and other services.
• Refer individuals to appropriate services and follow up on activities.
• Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and group presentations for clients.
• Maintain compliant and complete case files.
