Job summary
Centria Autism is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, following BCBA-guided behavior intervention plans and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
The role requires patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We provide comprehensive training and support to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding, with a strong
Qualifications
- Must be patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
- Certified CPR and First Aid required or able to obtain.
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding is required.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Help reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
- Participate in comprehensive training and join a dedicated team to support children and families.
