Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive contracts in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The role focuses on securing Broadband Access and Marketing Agreements for Verizon Home Internet in MDU/MTU communities, coordinating with engineering, and engaging owners and developers.

You will develop new business, perform needs analyses, and build relationships through site visits, discovery sessions, and follow-up meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Four+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business via telephone and mass communication to identify buyers within target markets.
• Conducting a needs analysis to determine how the solution addresses pain points.
• Identifying key buying influencers to determine budget and timeline.
• Building and cultivating prospect relationships through on-site property tours, discovery sessions, and follow-up meetings.
• Managing data for new and prospective clients in sales databases, logging all communications and attaching documents.
• Preparing and analyzing sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
• Negotiating contracts and closing long-term cooperative marketing deals for internet and mobility services.
• Understanding the competitive environment and Verizon’s technical advantages to present capabilities consultatively.
• Interfacing with local teams and attending industry events to position Verizon’s programs.
• Position Verizon’s Enhanced Communities program and pursue new construction opportunities.
