Verizon is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive contracts in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The role focuses on securing Broadband Access and Marketing Agreements for Verizon Home Internet in MDU/MTU communities, coordinating with engineering, and engaging owners and developers.
You will develop new business, perform needs analyses, and build relationships through site visits, discovery sessions, and follow-up meetings.
When you join Verizon, you will be part of a team focused on driving innovation, creativity, and impact. Our V Team is a community that listens, learns, and grows together—where you can share ideas freely and thrive.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for securing contracts within multi-dwelling unit (MDU) and multi-tenant (MTU) communities to expand Verizon Home Internet services. Contracts include Broadband Access Agreements (to build out network) and Marketing Agreements (to co-market Verizon services). These contracts give Verizon access to deploy networks and position voice/internet services to residential and small business end users.
Customer base includes owners, developers, and builders of MDU/MTU housing and rental communities, ranging from ten units per property to tens of thousands of units for an entire portfolio. These owners offer Verizon non-exclusive marketing access to residential customers with a propensity to buy high-value data services. Contracts contribute to top-line revenue growth and are measured by access line valuation, revenue, reduced churn, or mitigated competitive loss.
BDM will coordinate with local Verizon Engineering to secure License Agreements granting Verizon the right to construct a hybrid wireless-to-the-premises network wired on and through targeted properties. Initiate face-to-face contact with high-value owners, builders, and developers to present, propose, and secure marketing rights for Verizon’s services in direct competition with other providers.
This position will cover Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida, and surrounding areas. Employees must reside within 50 miles of the assigned sales territory.
You are passionate about sales, service, and building lasting relationships. You learn about the multifamily market, developers, and owners, using business acumen to establish credibility and deliver solutions. You negotiate to balance customer needs with results in a win for everyone and are energized by landing the next big account.
