Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

The position emphasizes leading the team to deliver outstanding service, handling calls, processing orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing and secure operations, while contributing to a welcoming, well-organized store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Answer phones according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns, exchanges and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and assist with merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Manage opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money/deposits per policy.
