Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers, with support to store management for assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will be valued in this role.

You will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, handle phone inquiries, process transactions, returns, and exchanges, and participate in daily store operations including stocking, imaging, planograms, and occasional deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per company policies.
• Answer store calls, look up parts and quote prices, and promote related items.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer; handle cash, checks, and card transactions.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
• Perform in-store services (where allowed) such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning codes.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed per policy.
