Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leaders and encourages bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities include leading team members in customer service, processing orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing, deposits, and security, with opportunities for career growth and promotional within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• RSS Certification is required or pursued during employment.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is advantageous.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and support program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Answer calls and manage store communications per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and via ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and secure money, deposits, and building.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
