Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Tipton, IA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will manage the store in the Manager’s absence and lead the team during mixed shifts.

You will help hire, coach, and train team members, ensure compliance, and maintain strong staffing during peak hours. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure staff execute service programs.
• Help manage staffing during peak hours and set team member goals with coaching/mentoring.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
• Ensure all store operations, security, and opening/closing duties are performed correctly.
