Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance, and operations. This role leads the team in serving customers and managing day-to-day store activities when the Manager is absent or on opposing shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will help in coaching and hiring while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant store management training and certifications.
• Experience leading teams in retail or auto parts is preferred.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service programs and showroom standards.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in goal setting, coaching, and training.
• Assist in hiring and interviewing candidates.
• Process inbound/outbound orders and transfers promptly.
• Handle returns and refunds efficiently and accurately.
• Perform opening/closing duties and money handling.
• Maintain store facilities and delivery vehicles.
