O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, store appearance, and operations at our Michigan location. You will lead the team during absences or opposing shifts and drive customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification are required.
• RSS Certification is required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels at the retail showroom and ensure staffing for peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, recruiting tasks, interviewing and selecting qualified team members.
• Handle returns, exchanges, invoicing, and timely processing of orders and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with policies, cash handling, security, and day-end procedures.
• Communicate store policies and training requirements to staff.
