Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Eagle Pass, TX, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. This role will lead the store team during the Manager’s absence and on opposing shifts, ensuring outstanding service to retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom with team members executing service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Collaborate with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is staffed during peak hours (lunch, late-afternoon, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, giving feedback, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring ongoing training.
• Assist in recruiting by completing tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and coordinating with management.
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
