Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and work opposing shifts to ensure service excellence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you will be involved in hiring, coaching, and daily store tasks to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training
• Required: Assistant Manager Certification
• Required: RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification
• Desired: ASE Certification
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and drive programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot.
• Collaborate with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring by completing recruiting tasks and participating in interviews.
• Ensure calls and all store communications follow company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store and transfers, and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and exchanges are processed efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and security procedures are followed during opening/closing.
• Oversee maintenance of store facilities and equipment and perform day-end procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
