Job summary

Care Alliance Health Center is seeking a Bilingual Call Center Representative to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients by phone, assisting with scheduling, insurance verification, and general inquiries in English and Spanish.

You will support patient access and ensure accurate documentation while working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls promptly.
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule patient appointments.
• Track and follow up on no-shows, cancellations, and appointment changes.
• Update and verify patient demographic and insurance information in the electronic health record.
• Open telephone encounters, refill requests, and route messages to appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions.
