Job summary

JTB Hawaii Travel, LLC is seeking an Associate for the CS Honolulu Airport team to greet and assist arriving and departing passengers at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, coordinating with airlines and JTB departments to fulfill passenger needs.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1+ year in the travel industry or related field. English and Japanese language skills are essential; MS Office and basic computer proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over 1 year travel industry experience or related skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and Japanese.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer systems.
• Able to obtain an airport security badge.
• Hawaii driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, brief, and assist customers during arrivals and departures at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
• Read AirJET information, verify baggage tags, and route luggage to hotels; confirm baggage with Tour Escort/Leader and trucking company; liaise with airlines on baggage issues.
• Coordinate with transportation company to ensure smooth boarding of passengers onto shared-ride buses or dedicated vehicles.
• Report changes or issues related to arrival information to the appropriate departments.
• Departures: confirm departing customers’ names and check-in details; provide information on departure time, gate, and duties.
