Job summary

Kidango is seeking an organized Accounts Receivable & Collections specialist in Fremont, CA. You will manage parent billing, payments, and collections while supporting monthly reporting and AR close.

The role requires a bilingual English/Spanish candidate with accounting knowledge and experience using Financial Edge or similar systems. This position offers a stable nonprofit work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• AA in Accounting or equivalent with 1–2 years accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with Financial Edge preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Direct accounts receivable and collections activities, including parent billing and past-due notices.
• Process credit card payments and mail invoices.
• Record payments in system and prepare monthly reports.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to General Ledger and audit delinquent accounts.
• Assist with monthly AR close and food claim preparation.
