Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual and/or Biliterate (Spanish) required.
• Meet one of the following: AA/AS or 72 college credits or ETS paraeducator assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction and behavior interventions using ABA techniques as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Facilitate communication using AAC devices and picture exchange systems under guidance.
• Follow behavior support plan and CPI techniques to ensure safety and student regulation.
• Deliver individualized or small group instruction and monitor engagement.
• Provide first aid when needed and assist with medical or personal care as required.
