Job summary

Pasco School District 1 — McClintock STEM Elementary is seeking an Instructional Paraeducator for the Extended Resource Room. The role includes implementing ABA-based strategies, supporting communication with AAC tools, and delivering targeted instruction to students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual and/or biliterate (Spanish) required.
• Passing score on ETS paraeducator assessment.
• Prior paraeducator experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction and behavior interventions using ABA techniques as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Facilitate communication using AAC devices and other tools under guidance.
• Deliver individualized or small group instruction and monitor engagement.
• Provide risk management support and basic first aid as needed.
• Assist with classroom materials, supervision, and safety procedures.
