Job summary

Pasco School District No. 1 is seeking a Specialized Program Paraeducator for the Structured Learning Classroom at Stevens Middle School in Pasco, WA. The role supports ABA-based instructional methods and communication aids for students with special needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual and/or Biliterate (Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Must meet one or more of: Associates degree, 72 credits, or ETS paraeducator assessment.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction and behavior interventions using ABA techniques as directed by classroom teacher.
• Facilitate communication using AAC devices and other tools under guidance.
• Deliver individualized or small group instruction and monitor student engagement.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support and assist with classroom management.
• Attend required training hours for paraeducator certification.
• Maintain student records and assist with test administration as directed.
