Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Bike Technician to provide a superior customer experience while building and repairing bicycles in the Bike Department. You will offer product recommendations, ensure proper bike assembly, and promote warranties and loyalty programs to customers.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a retail environment. Starting pay ranges acknowledge location and experience with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class customer experience by providing passionate customer service and selling through customer engagement in the Bike Department.
• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation.
• Build and repair bikes and assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Promote company programs including warranty sales, Scorecard loyalty, and seasonal promotions.
• Maintain bike department presentation and signage to Company standards.
• Support the team across the store and follow safety procedures.
