Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to build and repair bicycles, provide expert customer guidance, and drive sales in the Bike Department. This role supports assembly of equipment and maintains product presentation to store standards.

The Bike Technician will leverage knowledge of bikes to upsell warranties, accessories, and seasonal promotions while upholding safety and loss-prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Experience building and repairing bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures.
• Provide passionate customer service and strong product recommendations.
• Sell bikes and related merchandise to meet goals.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed.
• Maintain Bike Department presentation and signage.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOPs.
