Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Bike Technician to deliver a differentiated customer experience for cyclists. You will build and repair bikes to our standards and provide informed product recommendations to match customer needs.

In addition to technical skills, you’ll uphold presentation and merchandising standards in the Bike Department, help drive sales, and support the team across the store as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.

Responsibilities

• Create a world-class customer experience by providing passionate customer service in the Bike Department.
• Build and repair bikes according to established procedures.
• Provide strong product recommendations that align to customer needs and promote promotions.
• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation in the Bike Department.
• Achieve sales goals through selling bikes and related merchandise.
• Assist with assembly of exercise equipment as needed and support store operations.
