Specialized Bicycle Components is hiring a Service Technician in Richmond, VA. You will be the front-line contact for riders, delivering expert service and helping customers locate the right gear and maintenance options to keep them riding longer and better.

Work closely with staff and local riders, acting as a host, mentor, brand advocate, and service expert. You will help drive in-store experiences and support sales goals through technical excellence.

Formación

• Bike shop or bike mechanic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Able to work weekends as required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs+.

Responsabilidades

• Greet riders and assess needs, offering options from a service menu or tune-ups.
• Explain technical matters clearly and authoritatively about bicycles.
• Provide enthusiastic, courteous customer service and build rider trust.
• Capture service work orders accurately and schedule repairs.
• Assist customers with product/service choices without bias.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of merchandise and new product lines.
• Assist with bike sales and other duties on the floor as needed.
• Deliver best-in-class rider service to promote repeat visits and sales.
