Job summary

Specialized Bicycle Components in Oro Valley (Sunrise–Tucson, AZ) seeks a Service Technician to be the front-line brand ambassador, delivering expert bicycle service and facilitating quick solutions for riders both in-store and remotely.

You will work with staff and local riders to identify needs, perform service work, and guide product selection while supporting bike sales. A passion for cycling and weekend availability are required, with focus on excellent rider service and store upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Must be able to work as business dictates including weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Meet riders, ask qualifying questions and offer options from a service menu.
• Speak authoritatively on bicycle technical matters as they relate to our products.
• Assist customers with enthusiastic, courteous service.
• Take in service work and schedule repairs to exceed rider expectations.
• Advise customers on product/service selection without bias.
• Maintain knowledge of all merchandise and stay current with new lines.
• Assist with bike sales and floor duties as needed.
• Deliver best-in-class rider service and high rider satisfaction.
• Maintain store cleanliness and perform light janitorial tasks.
• Proficiency in Lightspeed POS and store websites.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
