Job summary

Trek is seeking a Service Technician/Advisor in a dynamic shop environment. You will troubleshoot repairs and service a variety of bikes on the spot, and install customer-selected accessories on new bikes. You’ll interact with customers, build relationships and ensure gear runs flawlessly.

As the face of the department when the Service Manager is away, you’ll demonstrate hospitality, strong communication and eagerness to learn about servicing bicycles and the latest models.

Qualifications

• Customer service chops and willingness to learn; hospitality-minded.
• Excellent communication, active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and the ability to troubleshoot and guide customers through repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for servicing bicycles and learning new tech.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and help on busy days.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repairs and service bikes on the spot.
• Install accessories customers select for their new bike.
• Handle hands-on work with brand-new models before they hit the floor.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure gear runs flawlessly.
• Be the face of the department when the Service Manager is unavailable.
